For mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Isaiah 56:6-8

In October 2010 Michael attended a conference in the New Destiny Church in Portimão, Algarve.

The visiting Apostle – Prophet from Holland, who had never met him before, spoke into their ministry saying:
“You don’t understand, it’s not about the size of your ministry, it’s not about the size of your ministry… for its so big in the Spirit, it’s so big in the Spirit”.
He then spoke of signs wonders across the Algarve, and the raising up of the new generation, the 20 to 40 year olds.

The next night he spoke over me again and said:
“You are to start a House of Prayer, for nothing will happen without prayer.
Your prayers will change the atmosphere and others will come, and want to know how to do it. And that there could be two, three or even four started across the Algarve.”

I could not sleep that night, the Spirit of the Lord was over me that night supercharging my spirit.
The Spirit of the Lord said it is to be a

A few days later the Spirit of Travail came upon me whilst in worship at home, the Spirit of God was heavy upon me for twenty minutes or so, and I felt something was birthed in the Spirit.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.
Romans 8:26-27

A few days later I had an email from a pastor in Fonte da Vida, a large local Portuguese Church, asking me to come and pray with him.

When I arrived, he said the Spirit of God had told him to contact me to say we must start a House of Prayer.
He knew nothing of the word that had been spoken over me!

How is that for Gods confirmation? Obedience is better than sacrifice!

The following week, we started the Powerhouse of Prayer.
It is a very exciting venture, and we are learning of the many levels of prayer that the Holy Spirit leads us into…

This is certainly not a boring prayer meeting!

We gather together at 11-00 hr – 12-00 hr on Tuesdays for Prayer and Intercession
